"You aren't a true success unless you help others be successful."
Eagles Basketball Club: Welcome
Welcome to the Indianapolis Eagles Basketball Club website. The Indianapolis Eagles are a 501(c)(3) program as a subordinate for the Amateur Athletic Association (AAU) whose mission is: "To help young men realize their academic and total potential through athletics." We are committed to assisting male athletes ages 14-17 in improving their individual basketball skills by providing knowledgeable coaching & mentorship. Our Goal is to guide these young men and to help develop the work ethic, academic and athletic talents to help them earn a College scholarship.
Our organization believes that we present an important opportunity for young men to not only experience great competition, but to also grow personally. Our program is committed to a “higher purpose” beyond athletics – seeking to impact the hearts and lives of young men, particularly those young men considered “at risk”.
Our mission is to help them understand the purpose of their lives beyond athletics, and to expose them to opportunities to serve their school and local communities with increased passion. An equally important goal of the club is to develop character, teamwork, and sportsmanship in an enjoyable basketball environment.
Eagle policy also dictates that our young men must help plan and participate in community volunteerism -- the practice of being a servant leader, holding our community in trusteeship will teach our young men to reap the rewards of living purposefully.
The Indy Eagles Basketball Club (Indy EBC) was founded to help high school basketball players develop the skills to compete successfully for their high school and prepare them for the opportunity to play at the collegiate level that their talent will allow them. We accomplish this through emphasis on fundamentals, and scheduling our teams to play within the highest competitive atmosphere possible during the summer. Our season begins in March and end in early August at the conclusion of the summer NCAA exposure periods. We are a self-funded program through parents, players and coaches. However, we do have several sponsors that have thankfully supported us in previous years.
